Key topics
The central theme of the 2024 conference is "Guidelines for Participation in Research".By following guidelines, participatory research can be appropriately and purposefully planned, conducted, and evaluated. Guidelines can be based on theoretical insights and experiences. The aim of the conference is to reflect on the synergies and differences, as well as the possibilities and limitations, for overarching guidelines for participation in research, based on recommendations for action and quality criteria that are already applied in various research fields.
At the same time, the conference aims to provide space for theoretical and methodological reflections on participatory and transdisciplinary research. Additionally, the topic of scientific skepticism and participation will address a current societal debate and be discussed within the framework of the conference.
