Keynote by Marlene Sattler: Roadshow Cycling Infrastructure: Help or Obstacle? On media coverage of the mobility transition
December 11, 2024um13:00 - 14:00

„Roadshow Radverkehr“ am 11.12.2024
The next "Roadshow Cycling Infrastructure" organized by the seven BMDV-Stiftungsprofessuren Radverkehr wird dieses Mal von der Hochschule Karlsruhe organisiert und beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, wie mediale Berichterstattung unseren Diskurs über die Verkehrswende prägt. Im Fokus der Debatte steht dabei u. a. the role of police reports regarding cyclists killed in traffic. After an input session by Marlene Sattler (TU Berlin) and a journalistic analysis by Mechthild Harting (FAZ), the discussion will engage the audience on the challenges and opportunities in the media discourse surrounding the mobility transition.
